ANUBIS is a female fronted five piece Metal band from the West Midlands that was formed in 2007.

Their songs combine their influences into an eclectic blend of Classic Rock, Nu Metal, Instrumental Rock, Celtic tinged Acoustic melancholia and a touch of Middle Eastern spice.

Their lyrics cover subjects as diverse as schoolyard drug taking to mental illness/abuse to fairground phobias and The Pharaoh flying on his Magic Carpet. As well as the usual relationship stuff. Not all of the lyrics are serious!

What is serious is the high standard of musicianship and stagecraft thanks to classic rock veterans; Guitarist Simon Lees (Ex Budgie), Bassist Pete Williamson (Space Rock Session Man) ; and the mesmerising Vocalist / keyboardist Sarah Co’burn. Providing kick-ass punch to the powerful sound is one of the UK’s most creative rock Drummers, Kev Bartlett.

Anubis’ music can be heard all over the planet on countless radio stations. Their My Space player has logged well over 2 million plays thanks to the quality of the material on their debut album Sibuna and their four-track EP Avatar.

Anubis have just completed their 2nd full studio album entitled Waking the Dead. This album has raised the bar even higher and is receiving outstanding acclaim from fans and press alike. A Live Album has also been released which was recorded at The Sonic Rock Solstice in 2010.
